Mike Bruner (Adult Dave)
Mike Bruner grew up in Brainard, Nebraska, and has been performing since elementary school. Mike started acting professionally in Phoenix, Arizona, where in between classes, auditions,
and acting jobs he was working as a Registered Nurse. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2001, Mike has had Guest Starring roles on such hit shows as The Shield, The Man Show,” and the hit drama, C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation. His most recent work on the new sitcom Shacking Up will air in 2005. His role as Adult Dave in Eating is his debut at Sundance.
Chad Ceccola (Young Dave)
Chad Ceccola was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He has been acting since the age of five. Chad has studied most recently under a private coach, Taylor Sheridan. He has starred in the independent films Insanity and Joan of Arc as well as performing in a variety of plays at various theaters around Los Angeles. Now at the ripe old age of 13 he is happy to be part of the excellent cast of Eating.
William Charlton (Father)
William's film credits include Money Train, Live Free & Die, Eating (short), and Boxed (filming). He has been seen on TV in Judging Amy, Boomtown, recurring on Law & Order, L&O: SVU, Spin City, and recurring on As The World Turns. He has performed in many Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway plays. He has also been seen in Buttter at EST-LA in Los Angeles, and in various regional theatres. He currently lives in Los Angeles and is represented by Angel City Talent.
Shannon Sweetmon (Mom)
Shannon Sweetmon started off as the stand out funny redhead all through school. From then on she knew entertaining was a natural thing. She has done numerous independent films, an array of national commericials, and has recently finished up Swimming in the Shallows, a play that was chosen as one of the most memorable plays of the year by the LA Times. Her passion lies in bringing awareness, hope and truth to people through this medium. Shannon's excited to work on many more projects, and looking forward to this pilot season. She is represented commercially by Abrams Artists.
Nick Puga (Tommy)
Nick Puga was raised in Miami, FL, and studied Theatre at Florida International University. Upon his arrival to Los Angeles, Nick's initial success came through commercial work, having co-starred with Christina Aguilera in the Coca-Cola campaign. But over the past year, the young versatile actor has worked on a number of short films. Although most of his film work has derived from his persona as a comedian, Nick has now made a strong transition to drama. Eating is Nick's film debut in a dramatic role.
